Urduña Public School, a transformative educational community.
We are a school created by the people and for the people. We are a project that a small and diverse group of citizens dreamed up and made a reality. They built their house on land that had once been a fertile orchard, despite obstacles. They taught us to take root in the earth and grow, out of love.
Today we can proudly say that we are a highly experienced community. Based on the pedagogy of care, we accompany the child in his or her development process. Through educational innovations, we want to take the student’s exit profile to the highest level of training, directing all human and material resources towards this. From the Basque language, new generations that are critical of society, committed to sustainability and creative are about to flourish.

Purpose
To be a companion for the child/student, to know how to respond competently to any situation and to be a constructive part of the community.
Look
Urduña Herri Eskola, immersed in a naturalized space and ecosystems, accompanies the child in his development process. Based on free movement according to the students’ interests and ensuring educational evaluation, to jointly build a change in the school community’s perspective.
