Orduña Public School Parents' Association

The Urduña Herri Ekola Parents’ Association (AS/B/02033/1990) is a non-profit organization based in Urduña (Bizkaia). Its main objective is to encourage families to actively participate in their children’s education and to contribute to the comprehensive development of the school.

Main objectives

Providing guidance and support to parents on matters related to the education of their children or wards.

Organizing additional training activities for families and students, including promoting the Basque language and culture.

Participation in the management of the dining service.

Supporting the specific needs of the school, such as strengthening the early childhood classroom or the two-year-old classroom.

Organizing extracurricular activities that will enrich students’ training.

Promoting family involvement in school management.

Promoting communication between the school, families and the educational community.

Collaborating with other local associations in Orduña and Arrastaria.

Participation in municipal cultural activities aimed at children, providing information to families so that they can freely decide to participate.

Networking with other parents’ associations in the Basque Country on educational projects.

Ensuring democratic internal functioning, respecting diversity and the rights of members.

Informing members of the accounts, activities and decisions taken by the governing bodies (General Assembly and Board of Directors)
